Both were called back for the second round of auditions for the highly competitive Spotlight Awards! Icon 2009 competition at the Richard & Karen Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach. Caden Michael Gray, voice student of Lori Moran, won a Macy Award and a Cappie Award for his recent portrayal of Tobias in the Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts' production of Sweeney Todd. Monet Sabel, voice student of Lori Moran, was cast as Marian in the Norris Theatre's production of The Music Man, which will run July 10 - 19. Julia Springer, voice student of Lori Moran, was cast as Maria in the Norris Theatre's production of West Side Story, which will run August 7 - 16. Selena Feliciano, voice student of Lori Moran, was cast as Dorothy in the Belasco Theatre Company's production of The Wiz, which will run June 25 - July 12 at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse.  Other students of Lori Moran's who were cast in this production: Marissa Koeller, cast as The Tin Man Alec Johnson, cast as The Wiz Riley MacDonald, cast as Glinda Hayley Maeda, cast as Evillene Mitchell Myers, cast as Flying Monkey
