Please send all inquiries and resumes by e-mail to Lori@LoriMoranMusic.com or by mail to: Lori Moran Music, LLC 6399 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 111 Los Angeles, CA  90048 Lori Moran Music, LLC - Instructors’ Policy I.   Instructors at Lori Moran Music, LLC are independent contractors.  II.  Instructors collect tuition payments directly from their own students, and are free to set their own tuition rates.  III.  LMM is more than just an online referral service, where teachers are given a profile page on a site with hundreds of other teachers.  And we differ from the typical music store studio.  Here’s what makes us different: ·        Unlike online referral sites where anyone can sign up, LMM instructors are members of a select group of highly qualified professionals.  All instructors must meet strict criteria and go through a screening process, personal interview, and background check. ·        LMM provides a facility in which to teach, centrally located in the Mid-Wilshire district. ·        LMM advertises for and directs students to teachers' other locations, and refers students to teachers for in-home lessons. ·        LMM acts as an administrative assistant, providing personal response to prospective students on behalf of instructors. ·        LMM provides each instructor with a voicemail box & e-mail address so instructors can avoid publicizing their private contact information. ·        LMM provides an online presence and maintains a high ranking in online search engines, resulting in more inquiries and more students. ·        Unlike music store studios, LMM offers teachers more autonomy, and the ability to take home the majority of their student tuition. IV.  Monthly fees are required as follows: A.  Studio Membership Fee:  $75 per month This fee is paid by all instructors, regardless of how many hours you spend teaching in that particular month, and includes studio membership, phone & voicemail, e-mail, equipment maintenance, website hosting, and advertising.  (Note:  New instructors will not be charged this fee until they have booked their first student through our referral system.) B.  Mid-Wilshire studio usage fee: $10 per hour For each hour you use the Mid-Wilshire studio, teachers are charged $10.
